Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Import & Export Executive to manage end-to-end import and export operations, including customs clearance, documentation, DGFT compliance, and logistics coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of import/export regulations, CHA coordination, and government incentive schemes (DEEC, RODTEP, Advance License, etc.) . Key Responsibilities Import Operations: Coordinate with CHA for import shipments from South Korea, China, and Indonesia . Manage import consignment documentation (Invoice, BL, CEPA, AIFTA, BOE, Insurance, E-Way Bill, etc.). Calculate and verify Customs Duty, SWS, and IGST ; ensure timely payments. Handle imports under DEEC with Nil Customs Duty for export materials. Prepare and manage insurance documents and claims for damages. Oversee air, sea, and courier shipments and negotiate freight costs under FOB terms. Manage used machine and mould imports and coordinate with Chartered Engineers for duty savings. Verify HS codes and ensure minimum applicable duties. Finalize yearly insurance agreements at optimal cost. Follow up on container bond clearance for LCL materials from CFS to factory. 2. Export Operations: Prepare and verify export documentation ( Invoice, e-Invoice, PL, BL ) for shipments to Brazil, Korea, and Russia . Calculate CBM for container loading optimization. Manage Re-Export documentation under relevant customs notifications and obtain GR waivers . Negotiate export freight under CFR terms . Renew RFID Self-Seal registrations at Chennai and Kattupalli ports. File LUT online to avoid IGST on exports. Follow up for BRC updates and manage entries in the DGFT portal . Track drawback and RODTEP benefits ; ensure timely credit from Customs. Apply for IK-CEPA benefits for exports to Korea. 3. Customs, DGFT & Compliance: Prepare and register Advance Licenses for Brazil and Russia projects. Prepare BOM for license materials and reconcile importexport quantities. Obtain GST Paid Certificates from EEPC and handle EODC and bond cancellation in customs. Handle AEO T1 and SVB renewal processes. Prepare PD Bonds, attend customs hearings , and manage SCN replies . Renew RCMC from EEPC , update IEC certificate , and manage EPR registration . Maintain monthly cost and clearance reports for CHA, forwarders, and consultants. Required Skills & Qualifications Graduate (preferably in Commerce or Logistics). 48 years of experience in Import/Export operations and customs handling . Strong knowledge of DGFT, Customs, and Port documentation . Proficiency in Excel, MIS, and online DGFT/ICEGATE portals . Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
