As a CAD Engineer responsible for Door Trims design, your primary role involves generating CATIA V5 Body Engineering CAD concepts and solutions for ongoing and new projects. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing and developing Door Trims, Tailgate Trims, Door Claddings, Pillar Capping, Finishers - Ensuring data accuracy and maturity levels of CAD geometry and drawings - Providing CAD support to progress designs within program timescales - Checking and managing clearance with interface parts - Ensuring manufacturing feasibility of parts - Escalating unresolved issues to Lead Engineer - Meeting all project deliverables - Identifying risks to the program Essential qualifications for this role include: - Extensive experience in using CATIA V5 - Good design skills with previous experience in Door Trims, Tailgate Trims, Door Claddings, Pillar Capping, Finishers - Successful track record in the automotive sector - Familiarity with Team Centre Engineering (TCE) - Engineering knowledge of component/system design, function, performance, production, and manufacturing requirements - Excellent communication skills at all levels - Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word, etc. If you have any additional details about the company in the job description, please provide them for inclusion in the final job description.,
