The Donor Relations Manager plays a crucial role in developing and executing strategies to foster relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, and foundations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that donors receive personalized engagement, timely communications, and recognition for their contributions, ultimately fostering long-term partnerships. Your key responsibilities will include cultivating strong relationships with both new and existing donors, developing and implementing stewardship plans, and ensuring that gifts and contributions are promptly and personally acknowledged. You will also be tasked with creating engaging donor communication materials, coordinating recognition activities and events, and maintaining accurate donor records in the CRM system. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with fundraising, communications, and program teams to align messaging and engagement strategies. Additionally, you will support the Development Team in achieving annual fundraising and event goals, assist in planning and executing donor events, and represent the organization at various meetings and events. Reporting is a critical aspect of the position, as you will be expected to provide regular updates to senior leadership on donor activity, revenue tracking, and relationship progress. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 5 years of experience in donor relations or fundraising, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience with donor database/CRM systems.
