Role Description The Boundary Surveyor DGPS role is a full-time hybrid position located in Salem with some work-from-home flexibility. Overview / Purpose We are seeking a strong Senior Geospatial Processing Engineer to support Dokimi’s delivery mechanism by taking charge of LiDAR, photogrammetry, and CAD deliverables. The candidate will work under the COO and coordinate closely with field survey, QC, and delivery teams to convert raw spatial data into high-quality outputs that meet client requirements and internal standards. Key Responsibilities LiDAR Data Processing & Analysis Perform point cloud cleaning, noise removal, classification, and filtering. Generate DTM, DSM, contours, break lines, and surface models from LiDAR data. Merge / register LiDAR strips, align with ground control / GNSS data, and ensure georeferencing accuracy. Conduct QA/QC — check vertical and horizontal accuracy, point density, and completeness. Photogrammetry & Aerial Imagery Processing Process aerial images into orthomosaics, dense point clouds, digital surface / terrain models. Do bundle adjustment, tie-point generation, ground control integration, and alignment correction. Validate quality (GSD, residuals, pixel alignment) and produce mosaics suitable for mapping. AutoCAD / CAD Drafting & Deliverables Create topographic maps, contour layouts, cross-sections, and utility / infrastructure layouts. Ensure consistent layer structure, coordinate systems, legends, and drawing standards. Convert between DWG, DGN, SHP, KML, CSV as needed; ensure compatibility with client systems.
