We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Colour Cosmetic Chemist to develop and enhance colour cosmetics, skincare, and personal care products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching new ingredients, formulating products, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires a strong understanding of cosmetic chemistry especially in colour, stability testing, and manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities: Formulation & Development: Design, develop, and optimize formulations for colour cosmetics products, skincare, and personal care products, ensuring stability and performance. Ingredient Research: Investigate new raw materials and technologies to enhance product efficacy and sustainability to the sub-continent climate. Product Testing: Conduct stability, compatibility, and efficacy tests to ensure product quality and safety. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all formulations meet local and international cosmetic regulations and standards. Manufacturing Support: Work closely with production teams to scale up formulations from lab to full-scale manufacturing. Innovation & Trends: Stay updated with the latest trends in colour cosmetic science, clean beauty, and sustainable formulations. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of formulations, test results, and regulatory documentation. Collaboration: Work with marketing, packaging, and regulatory teams to bring new products to market. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related field. Experience: 2-5 years of experience in colour cosmetic formulation, R&D, or related fields. Technical Skills: Knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, preservatives, and active ingredients in cosmetics. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA, EU, and other global cosmetic regulations. Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct stability and efficacy testing. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and innovative thinking skills. Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with natural, and clean beauty formulations.
