As a Senior Structural Engineer at Fusie Engineers, you will play a vital role in our ambitious engineering startup, aiming for substantial growth year-on-year. Your expertise in hand calculations and Finite Element Method (FEM) analysis will be crucial as we strive to become a multi-sector tech powerhouse with over 100 employees by 2025. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed structural calculations using software such as Dlubal RFEM, ANSYS, FEMAP, or STAAD PRO. Collaboration with steel engineers and CAD technicians is essential to deliver top-tier, innovative designs that impress our clients. You will optimize designs through in-depth analysis, ensuring the Quality Assurance of models, calculations, and project documentation. To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Structural Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field, along with at least 4 years of practical experience in steel structures. Proficiency in design standards, especially Eurocodes and DNV, is required. Your strong background in structural engineering, ability to perform hand calculations, and knowledge of 3D CAD and structural modeling will be invaluable.
