Job description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Food Technologist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development, improvement, and quality assurance of our food products. The Food Technologist will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate, implement, and optimize food production processes while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards. Requirements Proven experience in food product development and process optimization. Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using food processing equipment and technology. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Any relevant certifications in food safety, quality management, or related fields are a plus. Responsibilities Product Development: Collaborate with the R&D team to create new and innovative food products. Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to drive product development. Process Optimization: Analyze and improve existing food production processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Implement new technologies and techniques to streamline manufacturing processes. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure consistency and adherence to standards. Conduct regular product testing, shelf-life studies, and sensory evaluations. Regulatory Compliance: Stay current with food safety regulations and industry standards. Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure all products meet legal requirements. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and sales, to bring products from concept to market. Provide technical support to various departments as needed. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and testing procedures. Prepare and update technical documentation, including specifications and standard operating procedures. Education Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
