Job Description – General Manager (Operations & Administration) Industry: Security Equipment (Barriers, Bollards, Gates, Automation) Experience: 10–15 years Salary : 70 to 75 k monthly Role Summary We are looking for a highly capable General Manager who can independently oversee both operations and overall company administration. The role involves managing daily operations, service/project execution, team coordination, client communication, and smooth running of the company’s internal processes. Key Responsibilities 1. Operations ManagementOversee installation, commissioning, and servicing of barriers, bollards, gates, and automation equipment. Plan and schedule technicians/engineers for day-to-day service calls and project work. Ensure timely material availability, vendor coordination, and stock control. Monitor site progress, resolve technical and operational issues, and ensure quality standards are met. Handle AMC operations, breakdown calls, and client escalations. 2. General AdministrationManage office administration, HR coordination, attendance, and basic HR processes. Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain office discipline. Oversee documentation, filing systems, and contract/AMC records. Coordinate with accounts team for billing, purchase orders, and payments follow-up. 3. Client & Vendor ManagementAct as the primary point of contact for key clients for operational matters. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service partners. Conduct regular client meetings, site inspections, and operational reviews. 4. Team LeadershipManage service engineers, technicians, and office support staff. Provide guidance, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure accountability. Facilitate training and skill improvement for technical teams. 5. Reporting & StrategyPrepare daily operational report for management. Highlight delays, risks, and material shortages proactively.
