Distribution Software Engineer

Our RUCKUS Wi-Fi, LTE, and Switching technology redefines what's possible in wireless network performance with flexibility, reliability, and affordability. **Role Overview:** You will play a crucial role as a WiFi architect within the WiFi engineering group in India. Your responsibilities will include driving the architecture, design, and development of next-gen carrier-grade wireless access points. These access points will enable carriers and enterprises to meet the increasing demand for high-bandwidth applications and services. **Key Responsibilities:** - Preferably, have 15+ years of demonstrable experience in embedded software development. - Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi AP products with a solid understanding of Wi-Fi standards. - Hands-on experience in the architecture, design, and development of advanced Wi-Fi features compliant with WiFi5 and WiFi6 standards. - Good understanding of chip vendor firmware/target SDK and high-level architecture. - Experience in developing modules in an embedded RTOS and/or Linux kernel environment. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. **Qualifications Required:** - 15+ years demonstrable experience in embedded software development. - Strong knowledge of Wi-Fi AP products with a good understanding of Wi-Fi standards. - Hands-on experience in architecture/design/development of advanced Wi-Fi features compliant with WiFi5, WiFi6 standards. - Good understanding of chip vendor firmware/target SDK and high-level architecture. - Experience in developing modules in an embedded RTOS and/or Linux kernel environment. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
