Key Responsibilities: Receive, clean, disinfect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical devices. Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ETO (Ethylene Oxide) sterilizers, and ultrasonic cleaners. Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and storage of sterile supplies. Maintain logs and records of sterilization cycles and inventory. Perform quality checks to ensure sterility and function of instruments. Transport sterile items to operation theaters, ICUs, wards, and other departments. Follow strict infection control protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Identify damaged instruments and report for repair or replacement. Ensure compliance with hospital accreditation standards (NABH/JCI).
