Director/Senior Director - Embedded Software development

As an Embedded Firmware Team Lead at Intel's Custom Silicon Business, your role involves leading and managing a team of developers to design, develop, and optimize low-level embedded software. Your responsibilities include: - Overall Program Execution: Manage stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality solutions to demanding customers - Team Management: Lead a team of engineers through firmware development, validation, and collaboration with various design teams - Collaboration: Work closely with Architecture, Hardware, Emulation, Validation, Software, and System design teams to deliver scalable firmware - Leadership: Enable your team to excel through clear goal setting, accountability, performance management, and driving results To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - 20+ years of experience in system software/firmware design and development on Microcontrollers - Strong knowledge in low-level software and firmware design, system architecture, operating systems, and device drivers - Track record of delivering complex projects and managing teams - Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment Intel, known for its boundary-pushing technology, is dedicated to creating amazing experiences for businesses and society.
