Director of Data Science

As a Director of Data Science, you will be responsible for developing problem statements and high-quality quantitative models for business insight in the Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance sectors. Your role will involve leveraging your strong knowledge and skills in statistics, mathematics, and computer science to design and deliver leading analytics solutions using Advanced Analytics tools such as R, SAS, or Python. You will define analytic strategies, technical requirements, and data requirements for analytic solutions, and refine credit scoring models across various credit products. Additionally, you will integrate advanced analytics into end-to-end business intelligence solutions and engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop problem statements and quantitative models for business insight - Design and deliver leading analytics solutions using Advanced Analytics tools - Define analytic strategies, technical requirements, and data requirements for analytic solutions - Refine credit scoring models across various credit products - Integrate advanced analytics into business intelligence solutions - Engage in technical problem-solving across multiple technologies Qualifications Required: - PHD or M.S. in statistics, economics, mathematics, or related field - Expertise in credit scoring models - Minimum 5 years of experience in analytical problem-solving - Proficiency in R, with bonus points for knowledge in Matlab, SQL, SAS, and Python - High-energy, team-oriented, and positive attitude - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to independently research and resolve partner questions - Ability to develop high-level relationships with partners and contribute to new business development The compensation for this role is competitive and in line with the best in the industry.
