Job Description

Role & responsibilities Responsible for developing and executing human resource strategies that support the operational and business objectives of the port and terminal. This role ensures the effective management of talent, labor relations, compliance, employee engagement, and administrative functions while fostering a high-performance and safety-oriented workplace culture Plan manpower requirement to match strategic plans of the company, assist to recruit best talents on time and organize effective MIS of HC function including HRIS To maintain Congenial and Harmonious Industrial Relations including both internal & external stakeholders and there should be no Stoppage of Work arising out of manpower unrest. Ensure timely redressal of employees grievances and compliances with all applicable labour laws. To ensure efficient and productive use of the companys manpower in alignment with dynamics of business requirement. Effective utilization of available resources. To provide learning opportunities at all levels across BUs for the all round development of employees in terms of their knowledge, skills and to drive right behaviour for improvement in their work efficiency and effectiveness in line with the organizations vision. Responsible for effective implementation and further monitoring of DPW CSR projects progressively in compliance with statutory guidelines. Responsible for statutory compliance and due diligence of DPW policies from time to time. Review and recommend for updating people policies, procedures & rules and communicate relevant policy information’s to various levels. Development of an Organizational culture that emphasizes team work, collaboration and Positive Superior and Subordinate relationships. Organizational development & OD interventions including succession planning. Create performance culture by institutionalizing modern performance management systems, set and maintain performance criteria for reporting staff. Enhancing commitment of employees at all levels for excellence in performance. Periodically review the system, structure and the people of the company and take corrective measures. Work out and implement career development and succession plans. Facilitate competency building and skills development. Liaise effectively with local communities, political parties, government authorities. To ensure efficient Services are delivered under Admin related works – Vehicles, Canteen, Facility Management; renewal of relevant licenses/permits within the HC Budget and policy. Ensure the compliance of DP World’s health, safety and environmental Policies. Ensure that occupational health & safety work practices comply with statutory and corporate policies and procedures, and that management risk control programs are implemented. Maintain Employee relations with focus upon Employee Engagement activities. Administration & Maintenance of township. Drive employee engagement initiatives at Township. To prepare and executive People function Opex, Capex and Adhoc budgeted. Support automation, digital transformation and process excellence in HR processes. To monitor functioning of different manpower committee and ensure their objectives are met. Corporate Social Responsibility- Monitoring and evaluating the impact of CSR initiatives, providing regular reports and recommendations to senior management. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards and best practices in corporate social responsibility. Promoting awareness and engagement in CSR activities among employees and the broader community. Representing the company at CSR-related events, conferences and forums to enhance our reputation and build partnerships. Ensure that the company’s CSR & Sustainability initiatives receive appropriate visibility in government, public forums, and the media, including social media Preferred candidate profile Human Resource /Admin/IR experience of at least 12 years in a manufacturing/similar service organizations. Sound interest and interpretation of policy framework and regulatory issues Good interpersonal skills / etiquettes for effective and efficient communication. Flair to navigate through the government channels in pursuing various regulatory and policy matters MBA in HR. Additional qualifications in L&D, IR, Training CSR, Rewards & Benefits and other relevant professional certifications would be a plus.
