Director - Data Center Quality Commissioning

Role Overview: As a Director, Data Center Quality Commissioning at NTT DATA, you will lead your teams in managing and implementing the commissioning process for all Global Data Center facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the reliability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of Global Data Center projects by identifying and resolving issues early in the design and construction process. Key Responsibilities: - Lead Global Data Center commissioning projects and manage project delivery strategy in alignment with the road map strategy. - Drive the project Commissioning process including scope and schedule. - Ensure the development of Commissioning Procedures and Standards. - Manage the contracted Commissioning Agent assigned to a Data Center construction Project. - Provide coaching and mentorship to the broader Commissioning team(s). - Perform construction site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning process. - Review Construction Progress, QA/QC, Commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics to report to senior leadership. - Coordinate meetings and activities of vendor project managers including integration of lessons learned. Qualification Required: - Significant technical knowledge of MEP systems. - Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business or Quality/Commissioning, or related field. - Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation from Board of Certified Safety Professionals. - Significant experience in a data center environment managing projects/operations. - Significant experience in data center commissioning. - Significant data center construction project management. - Demonstrated experience in Electrical and Mechanical Test Equipment.
