Director - Architecture & Cloud Engineering

As the India lead of Enterprise Architecture and Cloud Engineering at Ameriprise India LLP, you will play a crucial role in driving the technology strategy, ensuring architectural excellence, and leading the organization's cloud adoption journey. Your responsibilities will include: - Championing and contributing to the continuous improvement of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) practice - Encouraging new ways of thinking and performing within the team - Building rapport, credibility, and cohesion across all business, operational, and technology teams - Providing oversight of technology delivery activities to ensure targets are met and issues are addressed in a timely manner - Acting as a change agent by staying updated on industry advances and incorporating them into project life cycles and business capabilities - Providing technical expertise to a team of highly technical employees - Developing and maintaining a high-performing team through effective hiring, coaching, and performance management processes - Ensuring compliance with company's policies, processes, and procedures - Demonstrating excellent communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences - Utilizing extensive experience with major cloud platforms, preferably AWS - Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools Qualifications Required: - 15+ years of experience with 6-8+ years of people leadership experience in leading technical teams - 5+ years of proven experience in short- and long-term strategy planning and execution - 3-5+ years of experience in developing/supporting complex enterprise cloud implementations About Ameriprise India LLP: Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years, helping clients plan and achieve their financial objectives.
