Key Responsibilities Sales Forecasting & Planning Develop and implement strategies to expand market share by onboarding new dealers and distributors. Increase sales volume from the base-dealer network. Set and communicate sales targets for Area Business Executives (ABEs) reporting to the role. Analyze historical sales data and market trends to create effective sales plans. Define market potential for various products and devise new sales techniques. Achieve sales targets as defined by the National Sales Head. Identify and target potential distributors and dealers currently engaged with competitors. Service Orientation Ensure regular merchandising activities and maintain high standards in market presence. Minimize non-conformities in service delivery and operational execution. Build strong relationships with key accounts by addressing complaints and fulfilling requirements in a timely manner. Support key dealers to help them achieve sales growth. Plan market visits as per schedule and conduct quarterly visits to new dealers and distributors. Establish strong interpersonal relationships with channel partners. Team Management Build and lead an effective sales team. Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance, highlighting key performers. Submit performance reviews by the 7th of each quarter. Identify training needs, organize training sessions, and support on-the-job learning. Oversee daily sales operations through Daily Sales Reports (DSRs) and cross-verify team reports. Motivate and retain the sales team, distributors, and super distributors through engagement and recognition initiatives. MIS and Reporting Ensure all sales reports are updated and submitted within specified timelines. Maintain required data accurately in the defined formats. Submit 10-day reports regularly to the marketing office. Maintain documentation, including contracts with dealers and distributors, feedback reports, invoices, and other relevant records. Provide timely feedback to management on the performance of new dealers and distributors. Take ownership of profit centers within the assigned territory. Key Skills and Requirements Proven experience in Sales Management, preferably in FMCG or related sectors. Strong knowledge of sales forecasting, planning, and market analysis. Ability to build and manage a high-performing team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Strong analytical and reporting capabilities. Self-motivated with a focus on achieving targets and driving growth.
