Overview: We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate is skilled in Java or Python, has strong expertise in API integrations, and thrives in building secure, reliable, and scalable backend systems. This role is perfect for someone who takes ownership, works independently, and delivers end-to-end solutions. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services (Java/Python). Build and secure RESTful APIs with OAuth2, API Keys. Implement robust integration mechanisms with retries, delays, and error recovery. Work with webhooks for event-driven, real-time synchronization. Handle data integrity via JSON parsing, formatting, and transformation. Manage the full SDLC from requirements gathering to deployment. Debug, monitor, and resolve backend errors effectively. Collaborate with team members remotely for successful project delivery. Requirements: 3+ years backend development experience (Java or Python). Strong expertise in APIs, webhooks, and secure data handling. Proven ability to deliver complete backend projects independently. Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, comfortable in remote collaboration. High sense of ownership and accountability. Nice to Have: Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure). CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices. Performance optimization and advanced error-handling techniques.
