Company Description A Digital Innovation & Transformation Company Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a SAP ABAP Developer based in New Delhi. As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining SAP applications using ABAP programming language, ensuring effective business process integration, and providing technical support for SAP modules. You will collaborate with business analysts, consultants, and other IT professionals to analyze business requirements, develop solutions, and enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, interfaces, and forms. Work with functional teams (MM, PP, SD, FI, HCM, etc.) to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain objects using ABAP Workbench tools: Reports (ALV/Interactive), BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, and Smart Forms/SAP Scripts. Create and manage data dictionary objects (tables, views, structures, etc.). Work on performance optimization and debugging of ABAP code. Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and OData services (if applicable). Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide technical support during system upgrades, rollouts, and migrations. Ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to SAP best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. SAP certification in ABAP or relevant modules (optional but preferred). Exposure to S/4HANA environment is an added advantage. 2–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. Strong understanding of SAP modules like MM, SD, PP, FI, or HCM. Experience with enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs. Experience with reports, forms (Smart Forms/SAP Scripts), and dialog programming. Knowledge of OData, Adobe Forms, or Fiori/UI5 is a plus. Experience in debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
