Job Title: WordPress Developer (2–3 Years Experience) Location: HSR Layout 6th Sector, Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Experience Required: 2–3 years About the Role: We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented WordPress Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development and be able to translate design concepts into fully functional and responsive websites. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain responsive WordPress websites. Customize existing themes and plugins or develop new ones as needed. Implement website functionality using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Optimize website performance (speed, SEO, and scalability). Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites. Integrate third-party APIs and tools (payment gateways, CRM, etc.). Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams. Keep up to date with WordPress trends, best practices, and updates. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). 2–3 years of professional experience in WordPress development. Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery . Experience with WordPress page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Divi). Experience in custom theme and plugin development . Knowledge of MySQL database management . Familiarity with version control tools (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket) . Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization . Basic knowledge of REST APIs and Headless WordPress (optional) . Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce platforms. Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js). Basic knowledge of Linux hosting and cPanel . Experience working with Figma/Adobe XD for converting designs to WordPress. Understanding of security best practices in WordPress. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
