Location: ISKCON Bangalore (On-site) Job Type: Full-time Reports to: Head of Online Communications About ISKCON Bangalore ISKCON Bangalore is a spiritual and cultural organisation dedicated to sharing the timeless wisdom of Vedic scriptures and the practice of Krishna consciousness Our digital platforms are a vital gateway for building a global community of spiritual seekers, sharing profound knowledge, and supporting our mission We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team and use their professional expertise for a higher purpose Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and spiritually inclined Digital Marketing Manager to lead our dynamic digital team In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies, with a primary focus on managing and growing the organisations online fundraising and donations You will lead efforts to enhance our brands reputation, grow our global community, and achieve key mission-critical objectives This is a player-coach role, requiring a 50/50 split between high-level strategy and hands-on execution Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership: Develop, implement, and manage the overall digital marketing strategy, ensuring it is fully aligned with ISKCON Bangalores mission and fundraising goals Online Fundraising & Revenue Growth: Spearhead the strategy and execution for all online fundraising initiatives Develop and optimize donation funnels, manage digital fundraising campaigns (across email, social media, SEO, and PPC), and implement new tactics to increase online donations significantly Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on achieving our goals Channel Oversight: Oversee and guide strategy for all digital channels, including SEO, Content Strategy, Social Media, Email Marketing, and Website Management, with a lens on how each can support fundraising efforts Budget Management: Effectively manage and allocate the digital marketing budget to ensure a strong return on investment, particularly for donation-centric campaigns Performance & Analytics: Analyse key metrics (donations, donor acquisition cost, ROAS, follower growth, engagement) using tools like Google Analytics to derive insights and optimise all digital strategies Collaboration: Work closely with the content, design, and video production teams to create compelling narratives and digital experiences that inspire community engagement and giving Growth: Identify new opportunities for growth, including reaching new international audiences and converting our online audience into offline program participants Qualifications & Experience 8-12 years of experience in digital marketing A minimum of 4 years of experience in a team management or leadership role Demonstrable experience in driving online revenue, preferably through fundraising or donation campaigns for a non-profit or mission-driven organisation Proven experience in developing and executing successful, multi-channel digital marketing strategies Hands-on expertise across SEO, social media marketing, email marketing, and content strategy Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Meta Business Suite, and email marketing platforms (e-g, Mailchimp, HubSpot) Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making The Ideal Candidate: Is spiritually inclined and deeply respects the mission and values of ISKCON Is highly results-oriented, with a passion for using digital marketing to achieve tangible goals that support a greater cause Is a natural leader who enjoys mentoring and developing team members Is a strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and formal work environment Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer: A competitive monthly salary The unique opportunity to align your professional skills with a spiritual purpose A supportive and collaborative work environment Daily access to free, sanctified prasadam Opportunities for spiritual guidance and development Apply Now
