Digital Cloud Solution Architect

Role Overview: At Small Medium Enterprises and Channel (SME&C), you will be part of a fast-growing, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered global sales team that is deeply focused on customer success. By collaborating with various teams within the organization, including Small Medium Business, Corporate, Strategy, and Partner teams, you will play a crucial role in unlocking significant customer opportunities and driving growth and innovation through technology adoption. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively engage with and reach out to customer technical decision makers and influencers to support their digital transformation, challenge them when necessary, and position them to deliver architectures. Stay updated on customer information, industry trends, and compliance regulations. - Utilize your knowledge of customer context, cross-solution expertise, and technical and market knowledge to build credibility with customers individually or at scale. Lead technical discussions with customers to ensure wins for core and adjacent technologies. - Capture competitive knowledge and deliver it back to product and engineering teams to enhance team capabilities. Customize and demonstrate existing assets to promote customer usage of key Microsoft solutions/products that align with their business outcomes. - Receive and synthesize customer/partner requirements, address them with technical architectures, and demonstrate the value of solutions through design collaboration sessions. Drive pilots, proof of concepts, and value for multiple technical solutions to move customers forward from pilots to productive deployments. - Build customer timelines, act as the Voice of the Customer by driving feedback and insights across territories, and identify gaps to drive new workloads. Connect customers with resources and support opportunities to facilitate their success and establish Microsoft as a valued business partner. - Build your own readiness plan, share strategic input with team members, and provide thought leadership within the architect community. Contribute to internal and external tech community engagement, mentor colleagues, and educate customers on Microsoft solutions/products. - Embody the culture and values of SME&C, and work towards driving customer success through technical leadership and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales. - 5+ years of experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations, and technology management. - 3+ years of experience in pre-sales and in a direct quota carrying role. OR Relevant certifications from Microsoft or competitive platforms AND 8+ years of experience in technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, and/or technical sales in a quota carrying role. OR equivalent expertise and experience. Additional Or Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales.
