As a Digital/ Control and Automation Engineer at Unilever Sumerpur, you will be responsible for the following key tasks: - Demonstrating a strong working knowledge of Rockwell PLCs including Micro, Compact, and Control logix models. - Creating tags in the Data concentrator Rockwell PLC and uploading them on Azure Cloud for seamless data management. - Performing L0 Validation for Master Apps such as DFOS, SPC, and EMS to ensure smooth operations. - Proficiency in Communication Protocols like Modbus, Ethernet IP to facilitate efficient data exchange. - Contributing to the value creation for Central driven apps like DFOS and EMS to enhance overall operational efficiency. - Implementing AI applications in the factory environment to optimize real-time technology effectiveness, utilizing tools such as cameras and closed loop controls. - Ensuring the maintenance of physical sensors connected to the Cloud to guarantee accurate data flow. - Possessing a basic understanding of Cyber Security protocols including WP 1, WP 2, WP 4, and WP 5 to maintain data integrity and security. - Familiarity with Control Loops concepts such as Open and Closed (feedback loop) for effective control system management.
