Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Diamanti OpenShift Developer to design, implement, and optimize containerized application workloads on Red Hat OpenShift, running on Diamanti's Kubernetes platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and deploying applications in hybrid cloud environments, with a strong understanding in enhancing performance through Diamanti’s purpose-built storage and networking stack, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: · Design, build, deploy, and manage containerized applications on Red Hat OpenShift integrated with Diamanti Kubernetes infrastructure. · Optimize workload performance leveraging Diamanti's I/O-optimized storage and network acceleration features. · Deploy, monitor, and maintain workloads on OpenShift clusters running on Diamanti hardware · Develop Helm charts, Operators, or YAML-based deployment scripts tailored to Diamanti+OpenShift environments. · Integrate applications with Diamanti CSI and CNI plugins, and troubleshoot related issues. · Define and manage Kubernetes manifests, Helm charts, Operators, and OpenShift-specific artifacts (BuildConfigs, Routes, SCCs, etc.). · Contribute to storage class, PVC, and network policy definitions that align with application SLAs. · Monitor and tune container resource usage (CPU, memory, IOPS, network) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Diamanti dashboards. · Implement security best practices aligned with Kubernetes and OpenShift hardening guides, including RBAC, SCCs, and container image security. · Participate in performance benchmarking, failover testing, and production rollouts in OpenShift clusters on Diamanti hardware. · Troubleshoot complex infrastructure-application interactions and drive root cause analysis. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. · 4+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, with at least 2+ years on OpenShift. · Strong experience in developing microservices in languages such as GoLang. · Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift (v4.x preferred) including oc CLI, SCCs, and Operators. · Familiarity with Diamanti platform, especially configuring and consuming Diamanti-provided storage classes and network interfaces. · Proficient in Kubernetes manifest authoring (YAML), Helm, Operators, and CI/CD tooling. · Experience with Linux systems, shell scripting, and container runtimes (CRI-O, containerd). · Familiarity with CSI, CNI, and Kubernetes-native storage/networking constructs. · Experience with Red Hat tools like oc CLI, OpenShift Pipelines, and SCCs. Preferred Skills: · Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development (Highly Preferred) · Rancher Integration (Highly Preferred) · CKAD – Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (Preferred) · Exposure to service mesh technologies like Istio or OpenShift Service Mesh. Job description Quality Engineer-SDET Diamanti is the technology leader in hyper-converged infrastructure for Kubernetes(K8s) based environments. Purpose-built for modern workloads in distributed cloud environments (hybrid, multi, and edge), Diamanti’s enterprise Kubernetes platform gives infrastructure Architects, IT Operations, and applications owners the performance, simplicity, efficiency, and enterprise-class feature they need to run Kubernetes at scale in production. As a Quality Engineer, you will be working on storage and networking solutions for the highly distributed and scalable Kubernetes-based Infrastructure product. You will be working on the next generation of products and enhancements including, but not limited to, multi-cluster and public-cloud integration, distributed policy enforcement, and cutting-edge storage features targeted towards private/public cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate would have a strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization, solid troubleshooting skills, excellent communication skills, and a background in QA and System Test for enterprise hardware/software products. To be successful, you will need to focus your creative energy on collaboration, communication, and producing high-quality deliverables. What will you do: · Writing test plans for new features/functions. · Responsible for manual feature/functional testing, regression testing, system integration testing, performance, and other non-functional testing. · Responsible for test setups as per requirements of test cases and environments. · Writing automation code to validate cutting edge Kubernetes based HCI products and platforms. · Working closely with development, support, services and product management teams. · Responsible for recreating test and failure scenarios and help troubleshoot issues. · Developing quality assurance strategies and organizing phased testing with QA engineers · Monitoring errors in the system and discussing them with other colleagues. · Helping with bug detection and fixing. · Testing and analysing the results. · Automate repetitive manual tasks, remove opportunities for human error, find security risks and give feedback to colleagues constructively. Required Skills and Experience: · Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline and significant industry experience. · 3+ years recent years of experience with QA (Quality Assurance) and CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous delivery) processes. · Should have strong knowledge of Linux commands. · Good understanding of OS concepts and Storage/Networking technologies. · Experience of working with Docker or Kubernetes is a must. · Should be familiar with any cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, VMWare). · Should be able to scope & execute test plans for new features with inputs from development & product management. · Experience in Agile software development methodologies/Scrum and track record with rapid release cycles. Preferred Additional Skills · Cloud certification - CKA, CKAD, AWS, GCP or Azure certified. Preferred CKA. · Good programming & debugging skills. · Must be proficient in any of the languages like Golang, Python, Shell scripting, Playwright, Selenium etc. · Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, JIRA, would be an added advantage. · Knowledge of Generative AI based Test Case generation, AI based test cases automation with self-healing · Demonstrated technical background; an engineer at heart with an inner desire to make an impact.
