Role & responsibilities The Scientific Officer performs his/her duties diligently and methodically to analyze specimens allotted to him / her. Segregation of Samples Raising query in case of the problem sample Monitoring Performance of the equipment Observing all laboratory safety precautions in the handling of clinical specimens and running of tests. Identifying Errors Ensuring proper maintenance of equipment Ensuring equipment quality control Ensuring adequacy in onboard supplies Performing checks during sample testing to monitor performance Identifying problems in results as per re- check criteria/linearity Escalating identified issues to designated supervisor Timely Reporting of Sample Tests as per TAT Recording results of samples tested Handling inter department queries Preferred candidate profile Immeadiate joiner
