Role Responsibilities As Senior Practice Lead (Assistant Vice President), you will work closely with the senior management team to drive Process Excellence Initiatives and Projects across the organization and bring efficiencies and effectiveness in processes. Responsibilities And Desired Profile Responsible for overall end-to-end process health, customer satisfaction, and improvement projects aimed at improving customer experience and efficiency. Develop process improvement and innovation strategy for business towers, Plan and Implement of projects, manage process improvement programs for the assigned Business. Works in partnership with operations managers and capability leaders to study and analyze trends in process improvements, transformation, and intelligent process automation and plan targeted interventions to bridge capability gaps by ensuring right training interventions Provide regular updates on quality initiatives and process improvement projects to key project customers across the organization as required. Take up relevant process mapping/ value stream mapping techniques to identify waste and create lean and agile processes Mentor Process Improvement Teams to improve internal quality and customer satisfaction (OSAT/ NPS). Develop measures to improve performance across processes including SLAs. Lead and support process improvement projects at the organization level that have an upstream impact Perform quantitative analysis of key process indicators to find opportunities for process improvement. Qualification & Skills Certified and Experienced Black Belt Solid understanding of Quality and Process Improvement Methodologies (Six Sigma, LEAN) 15-18 years of professional experience, with 5+ years, of experience working with the senior management team Experience of working in Global Business Services especially in any of the key finance processes like order to cash, record to report, procure to pay, controllership Proven experience in Finance and FP&A domain is a must Strong understanding of the relationship between process, organization, and business objectives Ability to innovate and enhance procedures and methods to increase productivity & cost-effectiveness Excellent communication and customer management skills Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our people work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time, compressed hours, and flexible location. Responsible for insight building and managing & monitoring Productivity initiatives of the unit. Manage Scrap sales process on pricing validations, and debtor's credit management of the unit. Engage with stakeholders incl govt depts and ensure time recovery of trapped cash, partner with CR team on same. Oversight over vendor payment/ reconciliation process which includes GRN, bill booking, payment processing and reconciliations which are managed by Unit team and Shared services. Partner with S&OP, Commercial Team & Treasury for optimum management of ED funding. Lead the Quarterly Financial Review with Make Finance Cohort Lead & Ensure timely and qualitative reporting of Manufacturing Finance Score. Prepare business case from finance perspective for management approved initiatives and drive actions thereon. Monitor operational wastages and cost sheet components and driving efficiencies and optimize costs. Participate in TB / Balance Sheet review process anchored by FC Tower and drive all actions due from Plant Finance BPs as per agreed timelines. PO management to ensure optimum inventory levels basis production plan. Lead governance over Capex processes and manage review of projects. Perform Post Capex Review. Coordinate MIS reports on manufacturing, inventory, SLOB, monthly PV & pending C&F forms and report to the HO periodically. Support in statutory audits, tax audits and internal audit and implementation. Support & give input for preparation of the unit budget. Anchor the financial control environment in units and assist in Sox / IFC audits. Support in the creation and implementation of effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks across USL to drive holistic performance and maintain reputation. Ensure pro-active input into preventative actions to address key business risks. Support in resolution of issues and proactively create an environment where risk is averted. Practice Diageo’s dial-up behaviors & champion the embedding of a compliance culture within USL.
