Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Telecalling Sales and Collections Executive. This dual-focused role is crucial for our business growth, requiring a candidate who can effectively drive sales of our products/services through outbound calling while also managing the sensitive task of debt collection and payment follow-up with customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills, with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure. Key Roles and Responsibilities A. Sales and Lead Generation (Outbound/Inbound) Generate Sales: Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to explain, present, and sell company products or services, utilizing prepared scripts and persuasive techniques. Lead Conversion: Follow up on warm leads generated from marketing activities to convert prospects into confirmed sales. Customer Needs Assessment: Actively listen to customer needs and requirements, and suggest appropriate products or services. Meet Sales Quotas: Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets. Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of all product features, benefits, and pricing structures. B. Collections and Payment Follow-up Debt Collection: Contact customers via phone to follow up on overdue payments, outstanding balances, or pending installments. Negotiation: Negotiate payment plans or settlements with customers who are experiencing difficulties, adhering strictly to company and legal guidelines. Resolution: Address customer queries and concerns related to their outstanding payments in a professional and effective manner, aiming for resolution. Record Keeping: Accurately record all collection efforts, payment promises, and follow-up activities in the CRM/database system. Minimize Delinquency: Work proactively to keep the rate of delinquent accounts as low as possible. C. Administration and Reporting Database Management: Accurately enter and update customer information, interaction details, and sales/collection outcomes in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on sales progress, collection status, and lead management. Adherence to Policy: Ensure all calls and interactions comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: Proven experience (X years) as a Telecaller, Telesales Representative, or in a combined Sales and Collections role. Communication: Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills in [Specify language(s), e.g., English and Regional Language]. Negotiation & Persuasion: Strong ability to persuade customers to purchase and negotiate effective payment arrangements. Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and stress effectively, particularly during collections calls, while maintaining a positive and professional attitude. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, etc.), dialer systems, and basic computer applications (MS Office/Google Workspace). Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is a plus. Desired Personal Attributes Goal-oriented and self-motivated.
