A CCTV, networking, and EPABX installation technician is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV surveillance systems, network infrastructure, and EPABX (Electronic Private Automatic Branch Exchange) telecommunication systems. The role requires both technical and interpersonal skills to meet customer requirements at various sites.? Key Responsibilities Install and configure CCTV systems, including cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related software.? Set up and lay networking cables, ensuring proper connectivity for security and telecommunication devices.? Install and commission EPABX systems, conduct wiring, connect extensions, and ensure proper functioning.? Perform site surveys to determine optimal placement for CCTV cameras and network/EPABX components.? Test hardware before, during, and after installation to resolve any technical issues promptly.? Conduct maintenance and repairs, upgrade systems as needed, and replace faulty components.? Document work performed, including system configurations and maintenance logs.? Educate customers on operation, warranty, and recommended maintenance of installed systems.?
