Role Description: To independently design and develop engaging and effective learning content solutions for corporate clients, translating complex information into clear, measurable, and impactful learning experiences. This role involves applying core instructional design principles, collaborating actively with stakeholders, and managing project-level design tasks. Key Responsibilities: Independently conduct needs analysis and define clear learning objectives for client projects. Design and develop comprehensive learning content, including storyboards, scripts, activities, assessments, and job aids. Leverage AI tools to accelerate content ideation, generate draft scripts, and optimize learning objective mapping, focusing on efficiency and quality. Apply various instructional design models and adult learning theories to create interactive and engaging learning experiences. Proficiently use a range of e-learning authoring tools, multimedia software, and content management systems. Collaborate effectively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract critical content and ensure factual accuracy. Present design concepts and solutions to internal teams and clients, articulating the instructional rationale clearly. Manage individual design and development tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Contribute to the continuous improvement of instructional design processes and internal best practices. Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on instructional content for effectiveness, clarity, and consistency. Skills: Strong understanding and practical application of ADDIE, SAM, Agile ID, and adult learning theories. Proven ability to create diverse learning assets, including storyboards, scripts, assessments, and job aids. Skilled in leveraging a core e-learning tool (e.g., Storyline or Rise) to translate instructional designs into functional content structures, aiding collaboration with development teams. Demonstrated ability to strategically utilize generative AI (e.g., ID Assist, ChatGPT, Gemiini) for instructional design tasks, including rapid prototyping, content chunking, and assessment generation, while maintaining rigorous quality and ethical standards. Ability to conduct needs analysis, identify learning gaps, and define measurable learning objectives. Capable of conveying complex information clearly, presenting design concepts, and facilitating discussions with SMEs and stakeholders. Skilled in working effectively with cross-functional teams and managing relationships with Subject Matter Experts and client representatives. Ability to manage personal workload, prioritize tasks, and adhere to project schedules. Meticulous in ensuring instructional accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. 3-7 years of experience in end-to-end instructional design and development for corporate learning environments. A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successful e-learning courses, storyboards, and learning materials. Proven experience collaborating with Subject Matter Experts in a B2B or corporate setting. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) functionalities.
