DevOps Sr. Engineer

As a DevOps Sr. Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining highly available, scalable cloud-native architectures. Your responsibilities will include developing SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to enhance service reliability, optimizing system performance across multiple cloud platforms, and leading incident response to reduce Mean Time to Recover (MTTR). You will also be responsible for implementing observability solutions using tools like ELK Stack and Prometheus, automating deployment pipelines with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities: - Design and maintain highly available, scalable cloud-native architectures. - Develop SLOs, SLIs, and SLAs to improve service reliability. - Optimize system performance across multiple cloud platforms. - Lead incident response and reduce Mean Time to Recover (MTTR). - Implement observability solutions using tools like ELK Stack and Prometheus. - Automate deployment pipelines and routine operational tasks with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible. - Create cloud-agnostic solutions and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of relevant experience in cloud operations. - Certification in Azure and other relevant technologies. - Strong knowledge of Azure and cloud services. - Expertise in observability tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana). - Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). - Experience with event-driven architectures and databases (e.g., MongoDB, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). - Solid experience in Linux server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and application performance monitoring. - Understanding of microservices architecture and service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio). - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and configuration management.
