DevOps Lead

The purpose of this role is to lead the DevOps team in order to enhance coordination among operations, development, and testing functions by automating and streamlining integration and deployment processes. Drive technical solution support to align on continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) of technology in applications. Design and define the overall DevOps architecture/framework for project/module delivery based on client requirements. Select the DevOps tool & platform aligned with customer requirements and oversee deployment. Develop a tool deployment model for validating, testing, and monitoring performance while ensuring resource alignment. Manage the IT infrastructure as needed for supported software code. Lead the DevOps pipeline across the toolchain to support the application lifecycle from planning to monitoring. Collaborate with the team to address coding and scripting requirements for software release and infrastructure connectivity. Ensure seamless onboarding of application configuration from planning to release stage. Integrate security throughout the dev-ops lifecycle to maintain data privacy and prevent cyber risks. Provide customer support/service on DevOps tools and address internal and external customer escalations. Troubleshoot issues related to DevOps tool implementation and perform root cause analysis of critical incidents. Develop alternative solutions based on root cause analysis of major problems. Provide knowledge transfer, share best practices, and motivate the team. Forecast talent requirements, hire appropriate resources, and train direct reportees for recruitment and selection decisions. Ensure compliance with onboarding and training standards to enhance team capability and effectiveness. Build an internal talent pool and support career progression within the organization. Set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback to direct reportees. Take necessary action on performance issues with zero tolerance for will-based problems. Lead engagement initiatives, track team satisfaction, and identify measures to enhance engagement. Challenge the team with enriching projects/initiatives and offer recognition and appreciation. Achieve performance parameters related to Continuous Integration, Deployment & Monitoring, CSAT, and Capability Building & Team Management. Mandatory Skills: DevOps-Terraform. Experience: 5-8 Years.
