DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Demands experience in Jenkins and test practices with extensive usage of open-source DevOps tools and solutions.
• Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows.
• Manage version control and collaboration using Git and GitLab.
• Test our system integrity, implemented designs, application developments, and other processes related to infrastructure, making improvements as needed.
• Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and propose innovative solutions.
• Extensive experience in installing, configuring, deploying, upgrading, and maintaining Artifactory.
• Work with open-source technologies as needed.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Linux-based infrastructures, and Linux/Unix administration.
• Expertise with CI/CD tools like Jenkins/Gitlab, and version control tools such as GIT/SVN.
• Experience in configuring and integrating SonarQube with Jenkins.
• Good Experience in satisfactory servers like Jfrog/Nexus.
• Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Perl & Python.
• Experience with open-source technologies and cloud services.
• Experience in software development and infrastructure development is a plus.
• Current with industry trends, IT ops, and industry best practices, and able to identify the ones we should implement.
• Time and project management skills, with the capability to prioritize and multitask as needed.
• Solid team player.
• Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become problems.
