DevOps Engineer - L4

Department:

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Azure resources including Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, Virtual Networks, Application Gateways, Private Endpoints, DNS, and identity services.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform (primary), PowerShell, ARM templates, and Bicep.
• Monitor performance issues, availability of Azure services using native tools like Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
• Manage and update Azure firewall rules, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and troubleshoot related networking and firewall issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application performance issues across development and production environments.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, governance standards, and cloud best practices.
• Provide Business-As-Usual (BAU) support to maintain operational stability and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min 57 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices and Azure cloud administration.
• Strong understanding of Azure services including Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, Virtual Networks, Application Gateways, Private Endpoints, DNS and identity services.
• Experience in managing Azure firewall rules, NSGs, and troubleshooting related networking and firewall issues.
• Solid experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Experience in providing Business-As-Usual (BAU) support, ensuring operational stability and incident resolution.

Work Environment:

• Flexible to work in Rotational Shifts for 24/7 support.
• Flexible to work in weekend for On-call support for any issues, DR Drills, Patching & P1/P2 issues etc.,
