Description
Design, implement, and manage deployment pipeline, including CI/CD tools and processes • Provision and maintain development, staging, and production environments on AWS and/or GCP • Administer and optimize database systems, including query execution, backups, and disaster recovery • Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure 24/7 availability • Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reliability • Optimize infrastructure costs and resource utilization • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth software deployments • Provide on-call support and be available 24/7 to address any production issues • Document and share knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement Required Qualifications • 3+ years of experience in a SRE/DevOps Engineer or similar role • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, with expertise in AWS and/or GCP • Proficient in programming languages such as Go, PHP, Bash, and Python and good understanding of version control systems • Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) • Solid understanding of database management, including querying, optimization, and backup/restore • Expertise in monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf) • Experience with writing code to automation to streamline infrastructure management • Must understand the concepts of Scalability, High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity etc. • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross- functional teams
