DevOps Engineer - Entry Level

As an Entry-Level DevOps Engineer at our organization, you will have the exciting opportunity to join our growing technology team. This role is specifically designed for individuals who are enthusiastic about learning cloud infrastructure and automation practices while actively contributing to real-world projects. In this role, you will closely collaborate with senior DevOps and engineering team members to assist in the installation and configuration of services on AWS, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, among others. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting deployments of code and applications through CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and GitLab CI. Your responsibilities will also include setting up and managing test labs/environments to facilitate code and application validation by development and QA teams. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to work closely with developers, QA professionals, and operations team members to ensure seamless release workflows. Throughout your journey in this role, you will learn and implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and automation. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, understand how modern CI/CD pipelines operate in production environments, and get exposed to various DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. You will also gain insights into real-world software delivery processes, from coding to deployment to testing, all under the guidance of experienced mentors. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a basic understanding of Linux, networking, and cloud concepts. Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python or Bash, is essential. Additionally, a good grasp of version control systems like Git/GitHub/GitLab and a strong willingness to learn AWS, CI/CD tools, and DevOps workflows are crucial for success. While not mandatory, exposure to AWS Free Tier or hands-on labs, familiarity with Docker or containerization basics, understanding of software testing workflows, and an interest in automation and cloud-native tools are considered advantageous for this position.,
