As a DevOps Engineer at our growing fintech organization, your role will involve building, configuring, and maintaining critical business systems. You will be responsible for: - Managing multiple PaaS instances of E6 proprietary software platform - Overseeing multiple Kubernetes clusters - Implementing Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code - Managing Jenkins build servers - Supporting Linux and Windows servers - Managing cloud infrastructure including RDS, LB, networking, and storage - Releasing software to hosted and on-prem clients - Updating, enhancing, or creating internal documentation for internal and external partnerships - Participating in a standard on-call rotation with other team members and occasionally traveling to client sites or company events To be successful in this role, you should have: - 5+ years of experience with Python and Bash Scripting, and IaC tools such as Terraform - Demonstratable experience developing RESTful APIs using Python, AWS API (boto3), Kubernetes API, and automating System Engineering activities - 5+ years of experience working with Configuration Management, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, and Public Cloud Services (preferably AWS, certification preferred) - 5+ years of experience working with Linux and supporting Java applications on Linux - Demonstratable infrastructure troubleshooting skills - 4+ years of experience working with Kubernetes and containerization Additionally, at our organization, we value the following qualities in our team members: - Appreciation for the unique backgrounds, skill sets, experiences, and contributions each team member brings - Strong culture of respect, inclusivity, and support for every team member's growth and success - Dedication to excellence in every task, regardless of size - Willingness to learn, improve, innovate, and make a positive impact every day - People-first mentality with a focus on professional development, wellbeing, and support for individual needs If you require any accommodations during the application or interview process due to a disability, please reach out to our Talent Acquisition Team at recruiting@episodesix.com.
