Job Description

Job Title - Devops Consultant (Azure & GCP- Must)

Location - Hyderabad (Onsite)

Must skills - Azure, GCP, Shell / Python for scripting

Exp Level- 3-5 Yrs

Salary- As per market

Interview Mode- Face to face

Graduation- Must (from esteemed university)

Notice Period- Should be not more the 1 Month

Experience Range - 3 to 8 years

Need consultant with cloud experience both Azure and GCP to Support Cloud Infrastructure with systems administration, configuration, troubleshooting and monitoring.

Skills Required

Support Cloud Infrastructure with systems administration, configuration, troubleshooting and monitoring.
Evaluate Linux systems and make recommendations to improve security, scalability, performance, and availability.
Perform 24/7 on-call duty for maintaining the availability and performance of application and cloud platforms
Manage and deploy monitoring and tracking solutions for production systems
Manage the scalability and efficiency of the cloud platforms.
Respond to platform and application problems and develop automated solutions to resolve them.
Develop automated solutions for capacity planning and forecasting, system performance analysis, and system tuning.
Review and influence ongoing design architecture of multiple production platform/ products.

Experience

Passion to learn and explore new tools/technologies that improves the current process
Experience in operating GCP or Azure Cloud platform : SaaS/PaaS based components or services provided below
Azure Services : Virtual Machines (VMs), Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, Virtual Network( Vnets), Azure DNS, ARM (Azure Resource Manager) , WAF, Blob Storage , Azure Event Bridge, Azure Files, Azure Active Directory (AAD), SQL Database, CDN etc.
GCP Services : Compute Engine, GKE( Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Functions, VPC, Cloud DNS, Deployment Manager, Cloud Armor, Cloud SQL, Big table, IAM, File Store, Cloud CDN, Pub/Sub, File store etc
Experience in Logging/Monitoring/Insights: Azure Monitoring, GCP Cloud Monitoring
Experience in working with Application Performance Management tools such as Dyna trace, Data dog etc.
Good understanding of SLA, SLIs /SLOs, error budget etc.
Experience developing, deploying, and debugging distributed systems in a Linux environment & Familiarity with at least two of the following programming/scripting languages: Python, Django Framework, Groovy, Shell scripting.
Strong Linux administration skills (Cent OS/Ubuntu/Red hat).

Good to have

Multi Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) Knowledge or experience
Good experience of supporting CI, CD, understanding release and deployment strategies, hands-on with Git, Jenkins, Jira, Code Commit/Pipeline etc
Hands-on with IAC, config management tools – Ansible, Terraform
Exposure to other cloud technologies like Azure, GCP and container technologies like dockers, K8s, Helm etc

Good to have Qualifications & good to have Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science/IT or related field.
Azure Certification - Administration, Developer, Security Engineer, Solution Architect
GCP Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE), Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Cloud Developer
