About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
embedded OS components
and
Android system layers
.
Work on
Linux kernel
,
device drivers
, and low-level system programming.
Port and optimize
Android OS
for embedded hardware platforms.
Develop and debug
C/C++
based modules for performance and stability.
Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up and system integration.
Analyze system performance and troubleshoot OS-level issues.
Ensure stability, scalability, and security of embedded software solutions.
Document design specifications, system configurations, and test results.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in
Embedded Systems Development
.
Strong proficiency in
C/C++ programming
and
Linux system programming
.
Experience with
Android OS internals
,
AOSP
, and
custom ROM development
.
Good understanding of
Linux kernel
,
device drivers
, and
bootloaders
.
Familiarity with
hardware interfaces
(UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO).
Experience with
cross-compilation
,
build systems (Make/CMake/Yocto)
, and
version control (Git)
.
Strong debugging and analytical skills with tools like
GDB
,
ADB
,
Logcat
, etc.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with
BSP (Board Support Package)
development and
embedded Android integration
.
Knowledge of
RTOS
or
bare-metal systems
.
Exposure to
CI/CD pipelines
,
automation
, and
testing frameworks
for embedded environments.
Familiarity with
cloud-connected IoT devices
is a plus.
