Development Manager

Min Experience: 12+ Years

Responsibilities:

1. Team & Project Management:

• Lead

  product development teams

  for multiple projects focused on digital technologies and product offerings.
• Establish and enforce

  development best practices

  and methodologies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to ensure successful project delivery.

2. Solution Design & Execution:

• Collaborate across teams to shape

  software solutions and development processes

  , ensuring alignment with customer needs.
• Work closely with team leads (TLs) to define software solutions and oversee

  day-to-day technical execution

  .

3. Development & Maintenance:

• Participate in the

  design, review, development, and maintenance

  of enterprise-grade end-user software, preferably in the

  Insurance / BFSI domain

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  project plans

  , timelines, and industry standards.

4. Business & Technical Analysis:

• Analyze and transform

  business requirements

  into detailed

  design specifications

  at system and programming levels.
• Estimate

  effort and timelines

  for proposed changes and development tasks.

5. Post-Implementation Support:

• Provide support for

  production environments

  , including troubleshooting and analysis of issues.

6. Strategic Leadership:

• Drive innovation in

  development practices and processes

  to ensure scalability and performance.
• Align software development initiatives with the

  long-term goals

  of the organization and its customers.

Must-Have Skills:

Education:

• BE/MS/MCA or higher degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.

Experience:

• 11+ years of development experience in relevant technologies with a strong track record of delivering complex projects throughout the lifecycle.

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in

  backend development with Java

  .
• Strong experience with at least one of the following technologies:

• Apache Kafka / Confluent Kafka / Event Hub.

• MongoDB.

• Knowledge of

  microservices architecture

  , preferably in

  cloud environments

  .
• Familiarity with

  DevOps tools and methodologies

  , including:
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.

Core Skills:

• Proven ability to engineer

  large-scale, high-availability consumer web applications

• Deep understanding of

  software engineering

  across all phases of the development lifecycle.
• Strong ability to

  manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently

  .
• Creative, innovative, and equipped with

  strong leadership capabilities
