Job Description

As an experienced professional with 5 to 12 years of expertise, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Your role will involve developing RESTful APIs and integrating them with various systems using Java APIs. Working with database platforms such as DB2, Sybase, or MSSQL Server for data storage and retrieval will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You are expected to implement unit test cases to ensure the delivery of high-quality code and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, and DevOps engineers to deliver robust solutions. Operating in an Agile development environment, your participation in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives will be crucial. Additionally, optimizing application performance and promptly troubleshooting issues will be part of your daily tasks. Mandatory skills for this role include strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices for developing scalable applications. You should have experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and Java API integration. Proficiency in database platforms like DB2, Sybase, or MSSQL Server is essential, along with hands-on experience in cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP. Previous exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and expertise in unit testing are required. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also mandatory. Desirable skills that would be beneficial for this role include experience in Kafka for event-driven architecture and messaging, familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and automation, as well as experience in performance optimization to improve system performance and scalability. Moreover, knowledge of security best practices, specifically in authentication and authorization mechanisms, will be advantageous. Your proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Rest API will be instrumental in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role effectively.,
