Developer-Core Banking Development/Maintenance/Implementation

**Job Description:** As a Maintenance Wealth and Technology team member at Temenos, your role involves handling end-to-end delivery of client maintenance issues with a focus on adherence to client SLAs, quick issue resolution, and continuous quality improvement. You will specifically work on the maintenance activities of the Application Framework (AFW), which forms the core of Transact for transaction processing, COB/services processing, and session management. This opportunity will provide you with in-depth insights into the workings of Transact at a core level. Your daily tasks will include writing and maintaining code within the proprietary language developed in-house. **Key Responsibilities:** - Participate in Scrum calls, Scrum Retrospection, and ensure all deliverables are developed with expected quality. - Analyze client defects, liaise with PACS or project teams to replicate and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide fixes as part of the product maintenance lifecycle. - Analyze client business requirements, collaborate with project teams, and produce necessary fixes/documentation to address the requirements actively across all SDLC stages. - Act in an engineering model with a passion for coding and test automations, following the software development lifecycle from inception through deployment. - Proactively manage prioritization, providing timely and effective solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - BE/BTech graduate with 2-4 years of experience in Core Banking development/maintenance/implementation with proficiency in any programming language, especially SQL, and experience with Atlassian SDLC suite. - True One-Engineer attitude with a passion for coding and testing, ability to work independently, and collaborate with internal and external parties. - Strong practical knowledge of Agile SDLC and familiarity with Security principles, authentication & authorization. - Optional skills in Webservices, Rest APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud & microservices would be advantageous. - Soft Skills & Professional Attributes: Good stakeholder management, organizational skills, time-management, and strong documentation/analysis skills.
