Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities: Knowledge of designing for Boilers, Heaters (Solid, Oil/Gas fuel fired), Waste heat• recovery boilers, heat recovery systems etc. Review/preparation of manufacturing drawings, P•&ID, GATP. Thermal calculations, Selection of rotary equipment, valves and instrumentation• etc.. Preparation of bill of material• & its release. Review/approval of vendor offers• & drawings and preparation of engineering part catalogues for procurement action. Attending site visits/issues, OTM and participation in technical discussion with internal• and external customer Standardization of variants to reduce OCs to engineering.• Critical Competencies for the Job: Knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics,• & thermal engineering Knowledge of different design• & configuration of boilers, heaters, various combustion technology & design of combustors Software knowledge of AutoCAD, Advance Excel• & MS office Willingness to travel to site, vendor/customer place• Ability to work in cross functional teams • On time delivery as per agreed timelines. • Engineering change control. • Correction of Errors in design and drawing, ability to guide draftsman. • Ability to analyse engineering problems • Effective communication skills verbal and written•
