Job Description – IT Support Engineer

*Location:* Byculla, Mumbai

*Languages:* English and Hindi

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support at our client's office in Byculla, Mumbai, for a 4-month assignment. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Intel-based desktops and laptops, laptop refreshing, and end-user technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.

- Handle laptop refreshing, including data backup, migration, OS installation, and software configuration.

- Troubleshoot Intel-based laptops and desktops, including hardware and software issues.

- Install and troubleshoot Windows 10/11.

- Manage user accounts, email profiles, password resets, and access issues.

- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, printers, and network connectivity.

- Maintain IT asset inventory and service request records.

- Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors for escalations.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support.

- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows operating systems.

- Experience in laptop refreshing, hardware troubleshooting, and software installation.

- Basic knowledge of networking and IT peripherals.

- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.

- Ability to independently support approximately 40 users at the client site.
