As a Software Developer specializing in desktop applications for Diamond Processing Machines, your main responsibilities will include developing new software applications in collaboration with business analysts and technical architects. You will also be upgrading existing software as per user organizations" requirements. Your role will involve rigorous testing to ensure code accuracy, debugging errors, and ensuring correct results. In this position, you will be expected to maintain existing software systems by identifying and rectifying defects. Utilization of established development tools like VB.NET, SQL Server, and C# will be crucial. Your responsibilities will encompass gathering requirements, analyzing, developing, implementing, and testing software applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, introduce new features, and maintain code quality will be essential. Additionally, you will be required to work on bug fixing, enhance application performance, and explore new technologies for improving development efficiency. To excel in this role, you are expected to have a strong command over essential technologies such as C#, VB.NET, and SQL Server. Excellent programming skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team and proficiency in various programming languages, are imperative. Clear communication and writing skills, along with exceptional problem-solving abilities, will be essential. Previous experience in Desktop Application development is preferred.
