Desktop and Network Support Engineer

As an Associate Engineer - IT at Flex, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and supporting the infrastructure and remote devices in the network. You will follow Helpdesk tickets using the ITIL Process, attending incidents and requests logged by users on a day-to-day basis within the SLA timelines. Being the first point of escalation, you will install and maintain an Active Directory Service, managing user and group accounts in Windows 2008/2012. Your responsibilities will include updating and maintaining users, groups, and organization units, imaging laptop/desktops with MDT, and troubleshooting booting, hardware, and OS performance issues. Additionally, you will troubleshoot hardware-related problems, LAN connectivity issues, and provide L1 network troubleshooting. Your expertise in PC software applications and MS Operating Systems administration will be essential, along with a wide knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, and software. You will handle encryption for data security, system image failure issues, and provide extended support to end users promptly. Participation in 24/7 support, including weekend system preparation and on-call rotations, will be required based on business needs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related field - 3-5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on maintenance of all IT and Network related hardware/software - Proficiency in providing desktop and network support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues - Experience in setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops - Ability to complete internal user moves, including phones and desktops - Willingness to work in rotational shifts (7AM-4PM, 11AM-8PM, 2PM-11PM, 7PM-4AM, 10:30PM-7:30AM) At Flex, you will receive competitive benefits for the great work you provide, including Paid Time Off (PTO) and Health Insurance coverage.
