Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Designers across multiple engineering disciplines to join our offshore projects team. The role involves preparation of detailed design deliverables, supporting engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with international codes and project specifications. Candidates with prior offshore experience, particularly in FPSO/FLNG projects, will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review engineering drawings, 3D models, and layouts in the respective discipline.
• Prepare detailed design deliverables such as schematics, diagrams, GA drawings, and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, and international standards.
• Coordinate with engineering teams across multiple disciplines to resolve design issues.
• Support design reviews, HAZOPs, and constructability assessments.
• Incorporate feedback from engineering, procurement, and site teams.
• Maintain documentation and design records in line with project quality procedures.

Discipline-Specific Scope

• Structural:

  Offshore module layouts, structural steel detailing, foundation drawings.

• Electrical:

  Power distribution layouts, cable routing, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts.

• Instrumentation & Control:

  Instrument layouts, hook-up drawings, control system wiring.

• Telecom:

  Communication system design, cable routing, network architecture.

• Process:

  P&IDs, equipment layouts, flow diagrams, process calculations support.

• HSE:

  Safety layouts, escape routes, fire & gas detection layouts.

• Piping:

  Piping layouts, isometrics, support detailing, stress considerations.

• Mechanical:

  Equipment GA drawings, vendor data review, package integration.

Requirements

• ITI/Diploma in relevant engineering discipline.
• 5-10 years of design experience in oil & gas offshore projects.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, SmartPlant, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of relevant international codes and standards.
• Offshore project experience (FPSO/FLNG) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, multicultural environment.
