If you are a disruptive technologist with big ideas, consider joining our innovative team! ### Role Overview: As a Senior Data Scientist within the Global Design Technology Studio at Gensler, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions that connect data from designs to practitioners, projects, and clients. Your leadership will help identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement through data analysis and synthesis. ### Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the Data team to develop and deploy ML classification algorithms using data from design authoring tools - Utilize data models to identify trends aligned with business needs - Develop data pipelines in MS Azure for data delivery and insights via Web APIs - Collaborate with colleagues to drive insights into early design stages - Research and integrate additional datasets like geospatial, proprietary, and operational data - Evaluate emerging technologies in the AEC space and provide build vs. buy recommendations - Support R&D for Strategic Insights initiatives - Upskill project teams on implementing PowerBI solutions - Contribute to the digital strategy alignment with business goals ### Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Math, or Computer Science with practical experience in Applied Data, Data Engineering, or Data Science - 15+ years of experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling (AEC Industry experience preferred) - Proficiency in Azure services like Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, and Azure Data Factory - Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and model development - Experience with machine learning, generative AI technologies, and end-to-end ML pipelines in Azure - Knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and security best practices - Familiarity with Data Visualization Tools like PowerBI and ML visualization tools - Experience with Git, source control, and cloud services like Azure Functions - Additional skills in C#, computer vision, REST API services, event-driven architectures, and Azure certifications are a plus ### Additional Details: Gensler prioritizes a people-first approach, offering various benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, wellness programs, profit sharing, and professional development opportunities.
