Description
Objective The Design Specialist will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs to support marketing and branding initiatives and take up design work in relation to client proposals and other related deliverables. This role requires a combination of strong design skills and expertise, and a creative mindset to deliver impactful content assets. Job responsibility Develop and produce high-quality designs, including but not limited to graphics, social media assets, and product demos. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, target audience, and brand guidelines. Create visually appealing and user-centric designs that align with the company's brand identity and marketing strategies. Utilize industry-standard design tools and design software to produce quality design. Manage the end-to-end design process, including concept development, storyboarding and delivery. Optimize different platforms and formats, ensuring maximum reach, engagement, and shareability. Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and techniques to incorporate innovative ideas and techniques into projects. Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, or freelancers as needed for specialized design requirements. Maintain a consistent visual style and brand consistency across all design. Ensure all design assets are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Job Requirement: Bachelor's or Postgraduate/ masters degree in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia design, or a related field 5+ years of experience in graphic design or a similar role Strong portfolio demonstrating a combination of design and creative skills. Proficiency in industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Solid understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and composition Familiarity with video editing (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.), motion graphics and animation software (After Effects, Animate, etc.) will be a plus. Knowledge of social media platforms and their specific design requirements Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and attention to detail A self-starter taking complete ownership of assigned work. Extremely organised and detail-oriented Effective time management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and work with tight deadlines. Must have the ability to work independently as well as with teams. Open and adaptable to feedback
