You will be joining our team at Rajlaxmi Industries as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop new stainless steel products such as cookware, vacuum flasks, and other kitchenware using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. You will collaborate closely with the production, marketing, and quality control teams to bring ideas to life in the form of manufacturable products. Your key responsibilities will include creating 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for both new and existing stainless steel products. You will also be tasked with generating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings for in-house production. Collaboration with the R&D and production teams will be essential to ensure product feasibility and optimization. In addition, you will be expected to modify and enhance existing designs to improve performance, aesthetics, or cost-efficiency. Conducting basic structural, stress, and thermal analysis on product designs when necessary will be part of your role. You will also support prototyping and testing of new product designs while maintaining thorough documentation and design records for all projects. Ensuring that all designs align with company standards, manufacturing capabilities, and industry norms will be crucial. You will optimize product designs for automatic production processes such as deep drawing, spinning, welding, and more. Furthermore, coordinating with tool and die makers for mold and tooling requirements will be essential. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for freshers, and the work location is in person.,

This role is pivotal in ensuring that new automotive components meet customer specifications and quality standards throughout the development and production phases. Key Responsibilities APQP & PPAP Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive APQP and PPAP documentation, including but not limited to: Design Records Process Flow Diagrams PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) Control Plans Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Dimensional Results Material and Performance Test Records Part Submission Warrant (PSW) Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding APQP and PPAP documentation. Documentation Review: Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to gather necessary data and resolve any documentation-related issues.
