You will be joining a leading provider of advanced 3D scanning, reverse engineering, and metrology solutions, Voxel 3D Technology Pvt. Ltd. as a Design Engineer specializing in Reverse Engineering. Your role will involve converting 3D scanned data into precise, parametric CAD models, and customizing design modifications according to client specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Process 3D scan data (mesh/point cloud) utilizing software tools like Geomagic Design X, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX - Create CAD models from scanned data for manufacturing or design enhancement purposes - Apply GD&T, surface modeling, and tolerance analysis techniques - Collaborate with scanning engineers, project managers, and clients to grasp design intent - Ensure model accuracy, completeness, and alignment with customer requirements - Aid in the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and presentations Required Skills: - Proficiency in reverse engineering software such as Geomagic Design X, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX - Strong grasp of manufacturing processes, CAD modeling, and engineering drawings - Familiarity with 3D scanning workflows and file formats like STL, PLY, etc. - Knowledge of GD&T, ISO standards, and engineering principles - Capability to work independently and manage project timelines effectively Preferred Qualifications: - Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Industrial Design Engineering - Experience in automotive, aerospace, or precision components design - Hands-on experience with 3D scanning tools like FARO, Artec, API, Creaform is advantageous - Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail In this role, you can expect: - Opportunity to work on innovative projects in diverse industries - Hybrid work environment promoting flexibility and ownership - Supportive and collaborative team culture - Competitive compensation and growth prospects If you have 2 years of experience in Reverse Engineering and are proficient in handling scan data/point cloud data for scan to CAD conversion, this role can be a great fit for you.
