Job Description

Job Title: Design Engineer Working Days- Mon-Sat Working Time- 10 to 7 PM Fire Fighting Systems Experience Required: 3+ Years Location: Noida Department: Fire Protection / MEP / Building Services Reports To: Director Key Responsibilities: ● Prepare fire fighting system designs including layouts for sprinklers, fire hose reels, hydrants, and suppression systems using AutoCAD or Revit. ● Perform hydraulic calculations and sizing of piping systems using industry-standard software (e.g., Elite Fire, PipeNet). ● Ensure compliance with NFPA, BS, and local Civil Defense regulations. ● Coordinate with architects, consultants, and MEP teams for design integration. ● Prepare material take-offs and equipment specifications. ● Assist in preparing technical submittals for consultant/client approval. ● Support in value engineering and system optimization. ● Review shop drawings and coordinate with the site team during execution. ● Participate in internal design reviews and QA/QC checks. ● Maintain accurate documentation of design changes and revisions. Required Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering ● Familiar with NFPA, BS, or equivalent fire safety standards. ● Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (preferred), and hydraulic calculation tools. ● 3+ years of relevant experience in fire protection system design. ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Good communication and teamwork abilities.
